Description

Ontario’s Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) is a secure digital learning platform provided to publicly funded school boards across the province. It supports online, remote, and blended learning for Kindergarten through Grade 12 students and educators.

The VLE includes a wide range of tools and features, such as:

  • Portfolios
  • Discussion boards
  • Curriculum-aligned lessons
  • Assessments and analytics
  • Teacher guides to support content planning and delivery

Faculty of Education faculty members and students have access to a demo space within the VLE. This space allows users to preview elementary and secondary course content, explore platform features, and become familiar with available teaching materials.

The VLE’s core functions include:

  • Communication – Facilitates interaction between students and teachers
  • Content Management – Organizes, manages, and delivers instructional materials
  • Assessment – Supports evaluation and feedback processes

To access the VLE, you must use the common UWindsor username and password to sign-in to the platform. This login information is available by clicking the “Access Database” button above. Please do not share the login information with anyone else. Access is restricted to current Faculty of Education students and faculty members only.
